Configure Plauti Agentforce Agents

This article explains how to configure the Plauti Agents in particular.

Prerequisites

Configuring a Plauti Agent

Plauti Agents are set up mostly in the same way, but some specific settings are required for the different agent types. The articles for the different Plauti Agents explain the settings specific to those agents.
Find them all in The Plauti Agents.

To create and configure a Plauti Agentforce Agent:

  1. In Salesforce Setup, go to Agentforce Agents
  2. At top right, click + New Agent
    The Agentbuilder opens. 
  3. Select Create from a Template.
  4. Scroll down (or search) and select Plauti Agent


     
  5. At top right, click Next.
  6. Make sure the necessary topics and actions are marked as Added . Click See Included Actions to view the actions included in the topic.
    For example, for a Plauti Verify Agent, topic ‘Data Validations with Plauti’ should be added, with actions ‘Plauti Agentforce - Email Validation’ and ‘Plauti Agentforce - Phone Validation’.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Configure your agent:
    • Enter a Name and API Name
    • Enter a Description, Role, and Company

    • At ‘Agent User’, select the Plauti Einstein Agent User you created in Installing Plauti Agentforce.
    • Tick Keep a record of conversations with enhanced event logs to review agent behavior.
  9. Click Next.
  10. The ‘Select Data Sources’ step is optional and not needed for Plauti Agents.
  11. At top right, click Create.
    After a moment, the Agent you created will appear.
  12. At right, in the Conversation Preview, try out the agent.
  13. In the Agent Log in the middle section you can check what the agent does exactly.

You can now incorporate the Plauti Agent in your workflows.
